OWH Midweek Throwdown

The following is my version of the monochromatic midweek throwdown.  It is tones of brown and the picture really doesn't do it justice.  I am thinking it is kind of plain but not sure what it needs.  Any thoughts?  The trees and sentiment are from Stampin' Up.

OWH Midweek Throw Down

Here is my version of the Father's Day OWH Midweek Throwdown.  All Dad's day cards need to be to your shipper by 5/21/11.
The yellow paper was crimped and glued to a white card.  The blue paper was a scrap.  The moose was cut out of a 12x12 sheet of wildlife paper from hobby lobby and of course brads.  The inside states Happy Father's Day.

Father's Day

Kid Birthday

The boy birthday card was made with a strip of vehicle paper and some blue ribbon.  The girl (can be used for anyone) was made with  birthday paper.  The Birthday Wishes is a free sentiment digi from paper crafts.

Another Easter Card

The chicks are free digi by Sandy Allnock.  Colored in the embossing markers with clear powder.  The Happy Easter was a Free Digi as well but I can't recall from where right now.  I definately need new ways to color.

New Cards

This was made with a foam stamp and some ribbon!

I first used my Sizzix Texture Boutique and a sizzix flower die.  Then on another piece of paper I stamped the flowers, then inserted brads into the center of the flowers.  I ovaled this and glued on to yellow paper after yellow paper was glued to cardstock.  The yellow paper is shiny but doesn't shed glitter.

The above and below were done with a cuddlebug die in the sizzix texture boutique and a stamp of an old chevy truck and fish.  The navy paper is shiny but doesn't shed glitter.  Truck and fish are stamped in navy blue and raised with foam squares.

Using paper sack like paper I again used sizzix texture boutique but a cuddlebug die.  Then I went over leaves with green colorbox chalk.  The deer and saying are from a clear stamp kit stamped in brown on gray paper.  Cut out using decorative scissors.

This was a stamp that I colored in with embossing markers then used clear powder to emboss.  The bottom of card was punched then a strip of purple paper glued in place.

This was stamped in Navy blue then colored in with gel pens.

Not sure how this was done as was donated by a friend.

Pink shiny paper dyed with a cuttlebug die and sizzix texture boutique.  Bird house was stamped, colored with gel pens, cut with decorative scissors then raised with foam squares.

the butterfly was stamped with a versapad, then used purple embossing powder.  the boarder was done with a cuttlebug die on sizzix texture boutique.

Presents stamped with a purple pad then clear embossing powder.  the ribbon is over a sheet of paper with presents on it.

Tea cup is a Stampin up product.  Stamped in black, colored in with gel pens, then cut out and placed with foam squares.  Happy Mother's Day stamped in Black.  Pink paper is shiny.

This will be shipped out to Operation Write Home on Saturday if possible.  I am hoping to get more Easter Done.
