Here is my version of #106, maybe this will also work for the Glitter Free Bling Challenge as well? The brad, blue star, red/white stripped, and Bandana paper is from Hobby Lobby "The Paper Studio". The stamp is a clear stamp from Fiskars. This can be used as an Any Hero Card or for a soldier to write home on. Sometimes I think it might be fun for them to write home on Red, White and Blue cards. The Not Quite Navy ink is from Stampin Up.

OWH Color Challenge
I decided to do a Valentine's Day card since it so close. I used Black and white paper from Creative Memories, I used the heart cuttlebug template on my Sizzix texture boutique. The stamp was on that I had gotten from a friend. The ribbon was from the $ section at Target. The red in the ribbon and the paper don't match here but they do in person.

New Year's Resolution
1) Finding time to scrapbook more and get our heritage albums (4 albums) x 3 people.
2) Finding time to create cards for Operation Write Home
3) Become better organized in my craft room
4) Get my sewing machine working again so that I can use it for cards, scrapbooking and sewing clothes, etc.
5) Being better about posting on my blog and checking out other blogs. I did real well up until May 2011 and all heck broke loose. My dad has been in the hospital 8 times in 10 months during the 2011 year along with 3 surgeries.
Hopeing 2012 is a better year all the way around.

OWH Midweek Throwdown
The following is my version of the monochromatic midweek throwdown. It is tones of brown and the picture really doesn't do it justice. I am thinking it is kind of plain but not sure what it needs. Any thoughts? The trees and sentiment are from Stampin' Up.
